Mark is a Canadian from Kamloops British Columbia. His Grandfather was a Northern Alberta farmer who wanted to escape the cold so he moved his family to Plan De Los Amates in 1956. Mark’s family lived in the village many years and his grandparents eventually passed away there. After Manny years in BC Mark’s father Jim retired to Mexico and when the family land was sold he moved up the coast where he and his brother Joe purchased a piece of rural property. Jim lived on the property for about 20 years. With his quiet demeanor, generosity and sense of humor, he was well loved and respected by all the locals. Unfortunately, Jim never regained his mobility from a stroke and passed away in the fall of 2016. He is surely missed.
Since Jim’s passing Mark has continued the development of the property hoping to share the areas abundant beauty.
